OGK Studios Cyc Wall
The moment that I saw the studio space at OGK I knew
that I wanted to build a cyc wall. The tall ceilings and
available space were perfect for a vision I had for years.
This project wasn’t exactly innovative but required some
creative problem solving. We were renting the space so we
couldn’t make any permanent changes and we couldn’t drill
very many holes in the walls. One of the walls had a door
to another retail space and there were shelves that the
neighboring restaurant used to store wine that they didn’t
want us to remove. The resulting design required four
screws to hold the structure in place. About a year
later we moved spaces and the structure took about an
hour to remove.
