T-ARUM Area Lamp
The T-ARUM area lamp concept was named after titan arum (Amorphophallus titanum) or Corpse Lily because of it’s brutalistic, gigeresque-industrial nature. The objective was to create an area lamp that used photographic lighting methods but was adaptable both in form and function. The heavy prehensile chord would allow for numerous applications and easy storage. The umbrella diffusion would adjust with a twist, multiplying the adaptability of the shape but also the form of light.
