The Thunderdesk

During the Covid19 lockdown our company acquired a new space that we took the time to renovate into a large, open-floor-plan workspace for our growing team. While everyone was working from home I designed the “Thunderdesk” which would be 381 square feet of almost entirely floating desk space which could seat up to 24 people comfortably. To sell the idea to the team I created an architectural visualization in unreal engine which would allow everyone to walk around the new space and get a feel for our idea while they were still stuck in quarantine. With my usual team of 2 we completed the proposed project in about 2 weeks and it has since functioned as an amazing collaborative space for our team.
